FOOD HANDLERS 


The food handler certification course teaches food handlers the basics in food safety, public health legislation, food microbiology, personal hygiene, cross-contamination & allergens, time and temperature control and cleaning & sanitation etc.


Certificates will be issued to food handlers who pass the exam with 75%.


Cost: $ 75.00 Naf. 135.00


Re-certification


The certificate is valid for 2 years from the date of issue. Before your certificate expires, you should get recertified in one of the following ways:


  1. Take a recertification course with the exam included.
  2. Study course material you already have and book an exam time.

Verbal exam


Food Handlers have the possibility to do the exam verbally. The fee for the verbal exam will be an additional $10.00 Naf. 18.00

MANAGERS


The Food Safety Manager certification teaches managers the importance of food safety, good personal hygiene and time & temperature control, preventing cross-contamination and allergens, cleaning & sanitizing, safe food preparation, receiving and storing, methods of thawing, cooking, cooling and reheating food, HACCP principles, pest control, food safety regulations and more…


Certificates will be issued to managers who pass the exam with 75%.

Re-certification


The certificate is valid for 2 years from the date of issue. Before your certificate expires, you should get recertified in one of the following ways:


  1. Take a recertification course with the exam included.
  2. Study course material you already have and book an exam time.

HACCP COURSE


The HACCP Course gives HACCP Team leaders the understanding of HACCP procedures and principles. It gives team leaders the insight to conduct a Hazard Analysis of their establishehment and operations, while providing them with the know how to implement critical limits to prevent potential food borne illnesses.


At the end of the two-day course team leaders will be able to write and implement a HACCP Plan.


Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.
